What Innovations In Heavy Machinery Has SANY Made?

Since they were founded in Lianyan, SANY has been a forward-thinking innovator in the world of heavy machinery.

Whilst many of their contemporaries took decades to innovate in the market, SANY created a major advance just eight years after being founded.

SANY credits their significant success to a reputation for innovation, and with that in mind, here are some of the most notable innovations they have made.

Did SANY Create The First High-Pressure Truck Mounted Concrete Pump?

SANY’s first major innovation in the world of heavy machinery was a high-pressure pump that could be attached to a cement truck and be used for the rapid and accurate application of concrete.

This was the first innovation of SANY Heavy Industries, the plant machinery arm of SANY, which was established in 1994 and would take the company from a relatively successful welding factory to one of the biggest construction equipment companies in the world.

The HBT90C was adapted for the Chinese market and the particular types of aggregate used in concrete construction, but its reliability made it far superior in China to its European contemporaries, and it would soon become a world leader in concrete pumps.

Did A SANY Crane Save The Lives Of Miners In Chile?

In October 2010, 33 men who had been trapped in a Chilean mine for 67 days were rescued following its collapse in August.

The situation was extraordinarily complex, and one of the pieces of equipment that proved to be instrumental was the SANY SCC4000 crawler crane.

This machine would help to rescue the miners and provide vital support during the rescue effort.

Does A SANY Truck Have A Guinness World Record?

SANY has multiple world records, typically relating to the length of cranes and telescopic arms. However, it also has the Guinness World Record for the longest journey made by an electric truck, travelling over 500 miles on a single charge despite its weight.
