The Atlas 160MH is the smallest of the material handler range and has an operating weight of 16.6 – 17.5 ton. Although the most compact model in the range, it offers a max range of 8.4 meters and a 109 HP engine. The ergonomic cab has an extended raise height of 2.3m and offers space, comfort and superb visibility, further enhanced by the side and rear mounted cameras.

Keeping safety in mind, the Atlas 160MH material handler features an innovative easy access Emergency Cab Lowering Safety System which allows the cab to be lowered from the outside, in case of emergency.

The robust chassis design comes with the option of stabiliser legs or dozer blade. The 160MH is available in both scrap and waste spec and is available with a 350L scrap grab or 450L selector grab.

As with all Atlas material handlers, the 160MH offers class leading service access, easy access to the air filter and cooler pack for efficient maintenance. The machine boasts other excellent maintenance features such as the adjustable reverse fan with a reversing time interval which is programmable between 0 and 60 minutes and an innovative battery isolation function – an automatic 3 minute timer delayed battery isolation which ensures the DEF fluid is returned to the tank and lines are fully emptied before batteries fully isolate.
